Tu Fawning klingt wie eine “traumfängerische” Kreatur, geschaffen von Guillermo del Toro höchstpersönlich, ihre Geburtsstadt wie eine einzig voluminöse urban legend. Nicht umsonst beten Indie-aner Richtung Portland, Oregon. Denn was da angepackt wird, ist goldeswert. Grund genug, um dieser Metropole samt ihrer Musikszene, einschließlich Bandkurzauftritten, eine eigene Show zu widmen. Und so schließt sich der Kreis wieder. “Portlandia” heißt diese Serie, die in den USA querfeldein bis an die Ostküste Kultstatus erlangte. Tu Fawning heißt die Band, deren Mitglieder einen Cameo darin hatten. Wir dürfen entspannt sein. (G)
