Reptilien gelten gemeinhin als äußerst wandelbare und geschlechtsreife Tiere. Von daher erscheint die Namensgebung des dänischen Duos wenig verwunderlich. Auch sie vermehren sich auf der Bühne und Ihre Musik präsentiert sich als recht kreativer Spagat aus elektronischem Dingel Dangel und dem 1*1 der alten Rockschule. Stilistische Korsette werden in keiner Sekunde geduldet. Wenig verwunderlich, dass Mads Damsgaard und Esben Valloe, die kreativen Freigeister um Reptile Youth,  ohne Release eines klassischen Longplayers bereits eine beachtliche Fanschar um sich scharen konnten. „Life is a fucking dream and so is the band“, genießen die beiden Skandinavier ihr kreatives Oeuvre.

Mit „Speeddance“ geht’s Richtung Seewiese – Eine Chance kräftig mitzutanzen.
